We meet on the last Friday of the month starting at 7.00pm when the members can use the extensive branch resources.
We meet at St Johns Church, Wainfelin, NP4 6EQ. This is to the north of Pontypool Town Centre. The church is on the corner of Penywain Road and St Johns Close. There is parking space at the side of the Church in St Johns Close, and the main entrance is at the front.
We have numerous local reference materials which can be used at meetings. These include school admission registers for Pontypool schools, transcriptions of Eastern Valley Methodist chapels, Penygarn Baptist Chapel and Trevethin church. We also have WiFi access.
We have a library of CD-ROMs, which members can use.
We have sets of various microfiche and fiche readers. The microfiche include branch transcriptions, MIs for the branch area and other parts of Monmouthshire.
We have a selection of books of historical or genealogical interest, to assist members with their research or to provide information on the social or historic background. Members may borrow the books.
