Pontypool Branch

We meet on the second Thursday of most months from 10am – 12 and the last Friday of the month starting at 7pm when the members can use the extensive branch resources.
Our aim is to be a friendly approachable branch and we usually have experienced researchers who can help you to start or progress your family history and give you ideas to help you demolish those brick walls we all find when searching for our ancestors.

We meet at St Johns Community Hall, Wainfelin, NP4 6EQ. This is to the north of Pontypool Town Centre. The church is on the corner of Penywain Road and St Johns Close. There is dedicated parking at the side of the church and the main entrance is through the gate at the top of the car park and then follow the path around to the main door of the church.
