John Brewer: ‘My Favourite Uncle’

This month our talk was by the Chairman of our Branch, John Brewer. He showed how by using the various sources available one could trace the life of an ancestor. In fact he used 18 different types of sources in the investigation and certainly made us feel as we almost knew the individual and how he led his life. Certainly this was one of the most interesting and rewarding talks we have had for a long while.
