Newport Branch Meeting, 2023 May 30

Newport through Time by Keith Wood.

This month our meeting was rather different with our presenter not giving a talk as such but showing a series of slides of Newport in the 19th  and early 20th Century. Each was accompanied by appropriate comments or a short story. The audience were invited to add their contributions to each slide and they often did so.

All in all a most interesting evening and, since Keith has a vast stock of material, we have already booked him for ‘Newport through Time, Part Two’ for next year.
