Thank you to Stephen Lyons, who has provided the Society with a list of deaths at mines within the Risca area. Information is provided on 431 deaths between 1842 and 1900. There is a table of all deaths that can be searched and a separate list of victims of four disasters at mines in Risca – 1846 (Black Vein), 1853 (Black Vein), 1860 (Black Vein) and 1880 (Risca North).
