At the Swag Fair on Saturday 16th May 2015, we were approached by the lady from Balmaiden Books, who had a folder containing information about a Newport girl named Einwen Evans. We were asked our opinion of where was the best place to deposit the information to which we said the Gwent Archives and said that we would also place the info in our journal and also on the website.
Einwen Evans was the daughter of Idris & Florence Amelia Evans; her reports were from Rougemont School, Clevedon Road 1939 – 1943; St. Julian High School 1943 – 1947; and there was something from an Oxford University.
